I was with bfletcher24 at E3. Although he didnt play it, I did, along with one of our other friends. It was pretty damn sweet actually. Im the huge WWF fan between the 3 of us so Ill know the most about this. I went into this game a little skeptical, because I always favored the Aki/N64 wrestling games that are more of a simulation style. But my attitude towards this game switched rather quickly. The game seems to use the same engine Yukes used in the other SD games, just one difference though. Its vastly improved. It was suprisingly really smooth. I saw with my own eyes, 8 (though there can be up to 9) wrestlers on the screen at once and NO SLOWDOWN, AT ALL!!! And check this out! The setting was Smackdown, so the announcers were Michael Cole and Tazz. And when the match started, (no enterances were in the demo yet), there was a picture-in-picture screen on the bottom right hand side of the screen showing M. Cole and Tazz talking to each other (although sound was also not implemented yet either). And M.Cole and Tazz are NOT flat cardboard cut outs. They were fully 3-D polygonal models!!! And they animate, they seem to interact with each other like a live broadcast. The wrestlers seem to have more moves as well. And the graphics, while not up to the calibur of Raw Is War (which wont have a season mode), they are still highly detailed and smooth as hell. I was the Undertaker and my friend was Triple H, he reversed almost everything I threw at him, but then I choked slammed him, then The Rock came in and interferred, I nailed the Last Ride on Triple H (my friend), went for the pin, Rock broke the count, the three of us battled it out, my friend and I decided to team up on The Rock, Rock threw me outside, He slammed my friend down, went for the Peoples Elbow, I got back in and clotheslined The Rock as he was coming off the rope for the Elbow, and my friend and I proceeded to beat the living hell out of The Rock until the time expired. This game is going to be sweet. Bfletcher24, who doesnt like wrestling games, thought this game was fun and looked great. Now THAT says A LOT!!!!! Smackdown: Just Bring It is going to be awesome. Oh yeah, on the SD sets, M.Cole and Tazz announce. On the Raw set, itll be JR and Paul Heyman doing the announcing. Sweet huh???
