I\'m not so sure about this. Certainly the graphics, models, and animations will be better than the PC version, but they\'ll be displayed on a lower resolution television screen. If you activate a co-op mode in splitscreen, the graphic improvements will be virtually unnoticable.
That leaves the gameplay. If the PS2 version utilizes the upcoming mouse and keyboard, then it should be fine. If it depends on the PS2 controller, I think it will definitely be inferior to the PC version. Regarding the game itself, I have no desire to repeat the original single player game from HL. If they include that single player game in the PS2 version of HL, that means there\'s immediately 60-70% of the game I will never look at. The add-on mission called "Decay" is an unknown variable, since I didn\'t care much for Gearbox\'s previous add-on called "Opposing Force."
Online play is the only area where this PS2 version of Half-Life could excel. What I don\'t understand is why they haven\'t announced any plans to include the best HL mod around, and possibly the best multiplayer game ever, COUNTER-STRIKE. Sierra and Gearbox will have to offer a really compelling product to capture the interest of HL fans like me.
