Hey a question,
When you fire up your ps2 (not literitly, although i have been tempted!) it has browser and options somewhere
When u hit options, you can make your playstation 2 disc speed faster and graphics smoother?

What does this do?
Does it make much difference?
Does it screw up your cds, ps2?
Thanks mates!

are you talking about how you hit the triangle button, and that takes you to some menu?  thats for your PSX games, it smoothes out the graphics and speeds up loading times (varies for different games)

yeah it helps the graphics and loading times in psx games.... not in ps2 games..... But some games don\'t work right and screw up the game..... Like Silent Hill..... that screws up the snow on the trees.... otherwise it\'s a nice option.

now doesn\'t it make you feel better?

i would like to note that it doesn\'t screw up the game permanently - the ps2 just won\'t run aome gamea with those features on - otherwise the only thing i even mess with is the load times - i can\'t see much of a difference on the smooth graphics
This Sig is a Work in Progress.

dido, i had a problem playing castlevania, and i switched off the graphic enhancer. then it played well.
ususally the load times make the difference. (especially in GTA2):D
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

ive found on some games the graphics smooth out A LOT, and makes a huge difference.  Same with the load times.  Not al games though.

Vagrant story\'s graphics get smoothed out a lot and Tony Hawks load times improve a lot but I havent really noticed anything on other games except Colin MacRea2. For that game if you have the disk speed on fast then it plays the music at double speed!

I think it\'s a bit over rated. It\'s cool, but it starts to get repetitive. I havent finished it cause I got bored about 15 hours in.

I use the smooth mapping and fast disc speed when I am playing PSX games.  You can kinda tell a difference, but not really all that much.
