Game Cube-what Can It Do?

:nut:I saw some of the game cubes graphics in a friends magazine and he was on about how they were so much better than the PS2\'s but i don\'t really agree because uu can still c jaggy bits on that Gorilla/monkey thing.
      Although the Luigis Castle thing does look good. But i am i right in sayin that the Game Cube can\'t even play DVD\'s MD\'s  or even CD\'s.
        So what will the XBOX be able to play then????? So can anyone tell me what the hell is goin on and how many BIts each Games Console is:nut:

PS2-all things 128Bit
XBOX-CPU 32 Bit, GPU 128Bit
GC- I am not sure
DC-some 128Bit chips and some 64Bit

But the Bits don\'t matter because every console has a complete different hardware with pros and cons. (But the PS2 is the only real 128Bit console )

Well, it seems like most Sega titles going to other consoles other than DC are pretty early so I wouldn\'t judge the GCN by how the Monkey Ball game looks.  Bits do not matter.

ok. first, he probably dosnt even know what he is talking about.
gamecube dosent play dvd\'s cds or VCD\'s they only play games. this dosent mean the system is bad, however. the x box will beable to play dvd\'s but in order to watch dvd\'s you must buy a remote controller,or you wont be able to watch them.
The rogue squadron game( for gamecube) looks very nice so far, although it still has a long way to go. if youre friend is talking about how good super smash brothers 2 looks, well he will be pretty dissapointed when he see\'s these screens

if he goes on and on about how great the gamecube is graphically, ask him what mpps means. that should shut him up. the gamecube and the ps2 are graphically on par with eachother. if he dosent believe you, go to http://www.ign.com , and show him pictures of Gran Turismo 3 and Metal Gear Solid 2.
or twisted metal black, due out june 19th, or Ico, or wipeout fusion, dropship there are too many to name:D

usually people that do things like that are acting on rumors told to them, and such.

simply said, if you  are 14 or older, you will most likely like to own the ps2. the games will appeal to you more, and the games will be better IMO:D





remember, the jaggies you see in those pictures are caused by the tv it is playing on. the developers working on gt3 were able to almost eliminate jaggies in its game with out using FSAA(full scene anti alias)

im pretty sure you have no idea what im talking about. but im doing it to scare you into thinking that i know too much about the gaming world:D (and to scare you into thinking im right)

Thanks Falcon4 that should really shut him up about the Game cubes graphics they r pretty good so r the PS2 and the Gamecubes graphics component things the same so they are both as powerful as each other???? i went to ign.com and i couldn\'t seem any comparosons have u got an exct adress>? :nut:

The GC can do the following:

1) make toast
2) Play Mario games
3) answer the phone
4) be a door stoper

But i would still get one
