Anyhoo I can\'t help but think that XBox is gonna have some difficulties this fall even with a whole lotta advertisement *shudders* this all reminds me of Dreamcast which I unfortunaly bought(shows how smart I am huh). I would also think that those who have N64 would be loyal to its big brother

The GC is hardly the 64s big brother, its like its Distant cousin. The GC is much different to the 64 and yes most of the people with 64s are loyal to Nintendo and they will get one.

XBox\'s launch won\'t be pretty. Sure people will buy it, but it won\'t go as high as the GC will at launch & the Christmas holiday season, and maybe not even as high as the PS2s sales around Christmas. After launch things will look better for the XBox. But it won\'t overtake the GC and the PS2 IMO.

Get ready to get flamed Tate. You can\'t diss both the Xbox and the Dreamcast in one thread and get away with it.

And what\'s up with that *shudders* thing? Do you really hate Microsoft that bad? I think you should look into the Xbox before you judge it.

hmm...XBox being released in the US 3 days after GC....hmm

Xbox being released months after GC everywhere else in the world....hmmmm

it does have its work cut out for it, and it up against some stiff, established competition...but if any console can do it, its XBox...but i doubt it

hmmm, i don\'t think DC was bad, i think it had a good bunch of games for it. Just because people did not buy it like drive-through at Mc\'D\'s don\'t mean Jack.

Big brother GC? nah, more like a huge evolutionary step forward. I have seen screens of some upcomming GC games, and IMO they look extremely good.

XBox? hmm, i think they will do ok, they will survive, and if MS puts some more money on the table, then we will surely see some kick-A$$ games that will impress us to death.

1-XB will sellout @ launch (in the US at least), so since Nintendo will be shipping 500,000 GC\'s, and MS 600,00-800,000 XB\'s, you do the math.

2-DC is a great system, and you should feel stupid for saying the bull**** you said. No real gamer would regret buying a system that still has more AAA games than the \'winner\' (PS2)...

When will people learn???

How do you know a "winner" when 2 of the systems aren\'t even out yet?

We will probably only be able to tell a winner in about 2 - 3 years

As for the Xbox selling out at launch comment-- Damn, can I have someone\'s crystal ball? I didn\'t we know we could predict the future now.. I\'m not saying it won\'t happen, I\'m just saying that it is premature to start goin\' around telling everyone the Xbox will sell out at launch.

Well see now, maybe you\'re just playing the wrong games. If all you get is Rouge Spear, Donald Duck, and Sega GT.. then yeah yer going to be dissapointed. I just bought my DC two weeks ago.. knowing full well that it was already dead commecrially.. and I don\'t regret it for a second. It\'s one of the best purchasing decisions I\'ve made in a long time. Try games like....

Sonic Adventure 1 & 2
Quake III
Metropolis Street Racer
Resident Evil: CV
Phantasy Star Online
Shenmue
and Crazy Taxi.

Those are the games I have, and I actually bought them all without renting them first.. which I almost NEVER do. All seven also turned out to be fabulous games.. except PSO. PSO kinda sucks ass offline.. but when you plug in the modem and go online.. it\'s like a whole \'nother experience, and easily one of.. if not THE best game on the DC IMO.

I meant in DC vs PS2 only, not the whole gen.
