Quick Question
« on: June 16, 2001, 09:51:51 AM »
I know this question doesn\'t really belong here. But I don\'t think many people check the GT3 section anymore.
I was reading some info on gt3 and realized that is says on ign it will be 6 players.

I would like to know how the hell they going to make that possible on a tv screen?

I dont know if this question was asked before or not and the mods can feel free to move the topic over if they wish.
if they going to split the screen 6 players some how that would be really dumb.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thank you.

Well you see judging by the tv screen I do belive the answer is Pie radiance. Which means the top screen will be seperated from the bottom. So basically 3 on top 3 on the bottom.

That would be so stupid if they split three on the top and three at the bottom.

You wouldn\'t be able to see anything.

No, it isn\'t six on one TV, it\'s 6 players via linkup (firewire as it is also known) and apparently you will need 6 ps2s and 6 tvs :(

6 TVs and PS2s? I guess you could do that too, but at least I\'ve read of a setup where you link three PS2s and play with 3 TV with splitscreen. Which is just dandy, considering that we have 3 TVs in our house. Now I only need some buddies with PS2s and GT3s. Oh yeah, and it would help a lot IF THEY RELEASED THE DAMN GAME HERE SOMEDAY
