Microsoft\'s Vice President of Games Publishing, Ed Fries, has talked candidly about the Xbox on TeamXbox. Fries reveals quite a bit of cool new info in the interview. We\'ve highlighted a few of the key points he makes:

-45 first party Xbox projects in full production around the world today, 20 more in talks, and only a dozen of the 45 have been talked about publicly so far
Bungie has another game in the works, there\'s a "madness" franchise game too

-The core creators of Rayman, Yeti Interactive, have a brand new character in the works

-Gamecube will ship on Nov. 5th and take a few days to reach store, but Xbox will be in stores on Nov. 8th.

-"Almost all of our TV advertising will be devoted to specific games, not generically to the platform. I got to see a very early version of a Halo TV commercial the other day and even in its rough form it totally rocked. It was 95% footage from the actual game and it looked great."


Interesting will Gamecude actually come out before XBOX??

Sorry my friend. That is complete BS. Nintendo stated that 11/5 is when the GC launches. Come 11/5 the GC will be sold in stores. That\'s the way it works, and the way it\'s always been.
