THPS3 VENUES and descriptions

I snagged this from IGN....(thanks to DirectorBG)

hey, I decided to post a list of the stages in THPS3. (I\'ve played this puppy extensively... E3 and also at Neversoft)
anyways, here it goes. **Note-I\'m not sure of the order of levels, I forget the exact order**

Foundry - this is going to be the first level in the game due to its relatively small size. it\'s pretty cool though. some rails around the level, and a really small halfpipe. also, there are \'secret\' rails to grind way up high. also, this level is indoors. it\'s kinda like a factory.

Los Angeles - this level is so damn cool. this is the level that was featured throughout that egm cover story a while back. also, most of the coverage around the net for thps3 features this level. there are cars, along with pedestrians flowing throughout the level. a road goes around a central area where there are some cool ramps. ok, I\'m sure you all have heard that you can set off an EARTHQUAKE in this level. just grind the 4 required rails, and KA-BOOM. it\'s so damn cool. also, there\'s a robber dude racing around the level in the van, with cops constantly on his tail, and you have to stop him. I won\'t tell how... there\'s some more cool things in LA, like a car wash, but I won\'t go into more since there\'s already a lot on this stage on the net.

Canada - Oh Canada. This level has also been featured in a lot of Tony Hawk 3 coverage. You start off in a parking lot, and there\'s a lot to do here. There are some really nice pools in this level. One of the objectives is to \'Impress the Skaters\'. There are these skaters throughout the level standing around. Do a sweet trick around one of them, and they\'ll say something like \'cool\'. I forget exactly what they say. But, don\'t forget, these ARE Canadians, so if you screw up, they\'ll say "Stupid American" or something like that. Also, since they are Canadian, you\'ll hear the phrase "Aye" every now and then. Another objective involves dumping snow on a "Bully". It\'s funny, there\'s this guys throwing snowballs at this one kid, and you have to stop him. Don\'t worry... I won\'t spoil anything.
moving on...

Suberbia - This level is pretty fresh. In the center of the level, there\'s this circular road that connects a few houses together. There\'s this ice cream truck driving on the road with some catchy music... you know how it goes... heh. Anyways, behing the houses, there are some very cool pools and ramps. There is also a house in construction... it\'s cool, there\'s only the wood foundation. In another part of the level, there are some trailers with some ramps.

Paris - I wasn\'t able to play this level since it was still in a very early stage of development. But, I did catch the Eiffel tower! heh.

Airport - Another level I was unable to play, and I didn\'t see anything. I just saw this one listed. You can only imagine how cool this one will be.

Boat - Yet again, I couldn\'t see it. Just imagine though...

On to the COMPETITION LEVELS!!

Rio De Janeiro - Wow. This level is cool. Outside. SO much to do. rails going all the way around the level with a lot of nice opportunities for TRICKAGE in the center of the level. Not too much more stands out though.

Skaters Island - This level is based on a real skate park in the east somewhere. I\'ve never been there, so I can\'t comment on how well this level has been done. But, I thought it was pretty fun. It reminded me a bit of the Ventura skatepark level in Tony Hawk 2. There is a LOT of opportunity to get air in this stage. Some really high ramps. More of an air than a griding level though. Also, I noticed a caged-in bleacher where some peeps were sitting. Cool, cool.

Tokyo - Finally, good ole\' Tokyo! This is the third level that is featured all over. It\'s so damn bright, reminded me of that one level in Jet Grind Radio. A LOT to grind here, with pools on the opposite ends of the level.

And there you have it, the ten venues of Tony Hawk 3. I can\'t wait to get this game... the network mode is sweet, and the new revert move owns.
I have adjusted well to not being well adjusted.
