Leave it to heaven. I was watching Who Want\'s To Be A Millionaire? and found out what Nintendo means. I thought it was cool.

I thought the answer was C(I don\'t remember what it was). Then I was like, "Leave it to Heaven? WTF does that mean?"

I knew that one. That\'s right, I\'m a big man. That was damn hard, though, as even the most die-hard Nintendo fans might not know that, let alone the poor schmuck who had to answer it. Then again, if he had phoned me I could have told him.

Remember, the name came about long before Nintendo\'s first videogame. In all likelyhood, it had to do with the card games that they made decks for. Cards is a game of luck, so leave it to heaven.

I don\'t know, makes sense to me... I guess I\'m still not sure though... Yea, I\'d like to poll the audience.

that\'s what it means??? I was told ages ago it meant something like "the art of scoring points".

Weird, cos Nintendo started out with cards and toys... but Eiksirf\'s explanation makes a lot of sense to me, iI can\'t really explain why, but it\'s just something that I can picture being said about card games or something

Yeah, Nintendo\'s been in business for a looong time. Probably meant something deeper back when it was first created.
