Guess what I\'ll be getting sometime this summer?

I haven\'t posted here in awhile, but I just thought I\'d say that I\'ll be buying a PS2 this summer, as soon as I\'ve earned another $100 or so.  I decided that I couldn\'t miss out on MGS2 or the new FF.  Another main factor was that I\'ve been wanting a DVD player for awhile... I\'ve also got a steady (well, hopefully) source of income doing small programming/Access jobs over the internet.  

I love my Dreamcast, too... I\'ve had it for a little over a month.  I\'ve been playing MSR, JGR, THPS2, and Shenmue a whole lot, lately.  I\'m even considering buying an Xbox... considering, I should say.  It doesn\'t interest much, at this point in time.

 Ugh... yeah.  Not much of a point to this post, but thats okay.  Just thought I\'d tell you.  A lot has changed, huh?


PS:  Of course I\'ll still be getting a GameCube this fall.  I\'m enjoying my GBA a lot, too.

That\'s good your\'er getting a PS2.  MGS2, Silent Hill 2 will soon be here.   I was thing of picking up a GameCube but it doesn\'t interest me anymore.  PS2 all the way!!  

I was hoping that Konami would just bring MGS2 to the GameCube and save me the trouble of buying a PS2, but... I also want FFX, a few other titles, and a DVD player.

Whore yourself out, my good friend, to earn enough for an X-Box, too.  Sure, it\'ll be the weakest of the 128bit console trio, but you\'ll then have the pleasure of all formats.

As for the GBA, I\'m getting myself into states of delirium waiting for Friday to arrive, furnishing me with wages.....

did u just say X-box would be the weakest? are u talking games and market power, or graphics? because  even though i love my ps2 i think that xbox will have the strogest graphics

Indeed, I should have been more specific.  I think it\'ll be the weakest in terms of success, but that\'ll not stop me getting one.  

I am becoming more excited about the GC each day, but each console will bear fruits that will be ripe for picking.

Boy, ya know, for a bunch of ignorant.. media fed.. brainwashed Sony whores that we all are.. (According to Evil Snake and countless other Sega/Nintnedo/Xbox fanboys) I\'ve seen more single console owning gamers turn multiconsole players in this forum than I\'ve ever seen on any other videogame site.

Good choice, but you may want to wait a bit to see if Sony lowers the price of the PS2 in leiu of the Xbox and GC launches. Least then you\'d have an extra 50 to a hundred bucks to spend on games or start saving for the NGC. MGS2 and FFX aren\'t comming out until this fall, I think, so you should still have plenty of time to figure out what you wanna do.
