Rumble Racing - Whats the fuss?
« on: July 03, 2001, 01:11:20 AM »
C R A P  C R A P  C R A P!

That is all I have to say! Whats all the fuss about? IGN gave it 8.6/10.

Maybe I find it too hard, or I just suck at the game, because I really cannot see what people are raving about.

Do you have to unlock the faster cars and tracks to fully enjoy it?

I\'m not a big fan of all-out arcade racers, but I found this game to be highly enjoyable and very worthwhile.  The thing about the unlocked cars, they\'re pretty cool and have their advantages but overall, you can win any race with any car if you do it right.  So no, it won\'t really step up the enjoyment beyond the sense of accomplishment.

The fun of it all was the sheer speed of the game, the power-ups, the tricks.  You should\'ve gotten that from it right off, if not you might want to unload this one and pick up a more legitimate racer...
For every fanboy there is an equal and opposite fanboy.

To err is human, to belabor the point to no end and deny any semblance of common sense or logic is the demesnes of the fanboy!

I don\'t really like Rumble Racing all that much. It\'s not my style of game. But as mm said, it\'s a lot more fun than playing for hours trying to upgrade so that you can beat your time by .000000000...whatever seconds. I\'m not saying I don\'t like Gran Turismo, \'cause I love it. And I\'m definitely buying GT3 for the amazing leap in graphics. Can\'t wait to drive the Lamborghini...:D
