Um...yes, you can. When you\'re playing your PS1 game, you have to have you PS1 memory card plugged in, not your PS2 one. You can only save PS1 games on PS1 mem cards, and the same goes for the PS2 games.

You can also archive PS1 saves onto a PS2 mem card.  But you can only access PS1 saves from a PS1 mem card.
