The Worlds Best Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike players? Judge for yourself.

Last weekend the Toronto Tourney (T2) was held in Toronto\'s Video Amusements. While four games were played, one game absolutely stunned the crowd: Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. Will Willis, the creator of the T2 trailer, has this to say:

Some fighting enthusiasts would argue that 3rd Strike is a dead game in North America. After seeing the US vs. Japan results last year, most thought the Japanese owned the game globally. But contrary to popular belief, there are a few pockets of hardcore 3rd Strike players located in various communities in North America and around the world. Toronto players are arguably one of the largest proponents of 3rd Strike, so much so that it\'s debatable whether their skills now rival those of the Japanese in the game. The "no-fear, all-out offence" fighting style adopted by Toronto players has produced a number of world-class players.

Last week players from Montreal, Philadelphia, Detroit and other Street Fighter communities converged on Toronto for a massive 3rd Strike tourney. The result was a riveting series of matches, a diversity of cultures and characters, and what can only be described as the most exciting conclusion to a 3rd Strike tourney ever. In fact, they play so well, they even broke the game, glitching it out at one point. But don\'t take my word for it. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding... For the most part, I am impressed.  I have never been a huge SF3 player, but I have to give them credit -- they are good!  There is ZERO turtling, and ZERO blocking.  They are completely offensive.  Download the movie and judge for yourself.
