I, yes I, have played EVERY SINGLE FINAL FANTASY. So I am naturally better than YOU.
1. VII: It, to me, had the best atmosphere. I liked all the characters, except Yuffie. The Death scene IMO was brilliant, I never, ever saw that coming (cause no idiots spoiled it for me:)) Sephiroth was the second-best villian ever. Cid was playable:)
2. VI: I have this one notch below FFVII simply because I think there were too many characters. Honestly, who ever used Umaro or Strago or Relm or Gau if they didn\'t have to? With that out of the way, the story was sheer brilliance, the setting was awesome, music rocked, and Kefka was the best, funniest, most evil villian in the entire series, hands down:)
3: IX: An almost perfect blend of FF7 and FF6, had lots of weapons, lots of openness, and classes! Storyline wasnt quite FF6/7 calibur, but an enjoyable experience nontheless.
4: IV: One of the first RPGs I ever played, had, for its time, great graphics, music that still outclasses most games, and an epic storyline that spans three worlds. A definite gem.
5: VIII: Certainly wasn\'t all it was hyped to be, but not bad by any stretch. There weren\'t enough characters, and very few changes in weaponry, which I didn\'t like, and it was too short. But it would have been much more enjoyable had the expectations not been so high.
6: I: The original, played very slowly. Those of you weaned on the PSX FF\'s will be amazed at how far it\'s come since this. There\'s no character development at all, and the storyline\'s really dumb, but at the time, this was AAA.
7: V: I just never could like this game for some reason. The story didn\'t make a bit of sense to me. The environments were nice, but there needed to be more development, definitely.
8: II: Couldn\'t read a damn bit of the thing.
9: III: Ditto.
10. Mystic Quest: Utter, complete crap. Too easy, too simplistic, totally un-Square.
11: FF Tactics: I suck at these strategy games, so I only got about halfway into it, and now i cant find the game:(
