If I had an all time movie bad guy, I\'d pick Robert Patrick as the
T1000 first ( he makes being evil so fakkin cool ; pinching mom in
the shoulder at the end of the movie. He says with such a nasty voice : " I know it hurts... " ). Second is Jack Nicholson in the Shining ; slowly turning brutally insane, while doing that he even tries to rationalize that.
Third is the scene in Saving Private Ryan. I think it\'s at 65% of the length of the movie. It\'s where, the American soldier fights the German soldier who\'s coming from downstairs the wrecked house.
Eventually the German wins the fight. He is on top of the American soldier who sobs tears and realizes he\'s done for.
The best part is that the German starts to comfort him a bit. But
the German guy also knows he must kill him other wise the American will kill him. I think he then tries to calm down the Amrican a bit as he slowly slides the dagger into the American soldiers\' heart, saying : "ssshhhhss, viel einfacher so... ".
I thought that was a very strong scene, where Evil does show a little kind of twisted \'good/kindness\'
Imo it was the best option the German soldier had in such a war
situation. Someone wins someone loses. The German, in this case the winner, tries to comfort the American a bit as his fate is
decided in the fight.
...ehmm, maybe this might have sounded like a bit perverted, but
... ah well...
