What exactly is wrong with Jurassic Park 2?

2 I\'m talking about, not 3. I\'ve watched it twice since I saw Jurassic Park 3, and it is definetely a good movie. So, what exactly do you feel are it\'s flaws, if you have seen it recently?

The damn flaw was they changed the story 100% from the book, and got rid of all but 4 characters! (I can\'t believe they got rid of Robert Thorn!)

Exactly what Animal Mother said, and throw in that AWFUL WHINY SCREAMING OBNOXIOUS black girl that was never even in the book. I HATE JPII!!!!!!!!

I watched the movie and then read the book. Compared to the book, the movie was terrible. They changed everything except that they went to Isla Sorna. I thought the movie was alright but compared to the book, it sucked.

I think with out steven spilberg directing Jurrassic park it sucks.. and you can see that in jurrassic park 2 and 3. The stories are all twisted. And very bland. Make no sense..They went in a new direction from the first one.

yeah as you said. 2 sucked, and 3 sucked more. i mean when i saw al those marines land on the beach, i was ready for some dinasour slaughter

After reading the *excellent* book, you would know why JP2 was nothing but a cash-cow for Mr. Spielberg. I must say that JP2 was one of the most disappointing movies I have ever seen. -- Then again, the first Jurassic Park was also missing tons from the book. So what else is new? :rolleyes:

The movie was just crap.

part 2 was terrible...the dumbass black girl,  goldblum\'s cheap acting, the major changes from the book (including that godzilla wanna be ending)...and the music was horendous...

now as for part 3,  (spoiler warning) had the kid been dead or never been found,  i think it wouldve been great...there were too many survivors....at the end,  the spino shouldve eaten the guy hanging from the cord...instead,  the spino wastes time growling and doesnt bother eating him....pathetic...
and the raptors didnt tear them all to shreds when they caught them with the eggs....plus,  its funny how easily sam neil got into the plane to fly over the island...i thought that was weak....i think with a few changes here and there,  part 3 couldve been really good...it had good old john william themes from part 1,  it had sam neil,  and that scene that introduces the pterodactyls was freaky...i still enjoyed it..and will prolly get the dvd along with the first one because this one felt as it shouldve been the true sequel...forget part 2...

JPII sucked for many reasons - but the ending, or the last 20 minutes truly were the last drop. How cheesy and stupid can it truly be?

Really disappointing. Makes me wonder what the h3ll they were thinking.
