Actually I play Diablo 2 Lord of Terror frequently and for what it is it is top noch. Its suto 3d affects look wonderful. Im glad they did it to. If htey mnade it full 3d it wouldn\'t have such a following.

Not all games are about graphics... There are a few out there that focus on gameplay.

So your assuming that BG is a Diablo 2 killer just because of it\'s graphics? For a scientist your not very intelligent.

Im sure the gameplay is as great as Baldurs Gate on the PC but you must understand that no matter what, thier going to be completly different.

Bossieman!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111111

You completely missed the point - graphics don\'t matter. Diablo 2 focusing on gameplay and replay value moreso than graphics. So what if BG has better graphic? That doesn\'t mean it will have better gameplay.

Why am I even telling you this? It should be common knowledge by now.

Dark Alliance is more action orientated then Baldurs Gate for the PC. Sure Dark Alliance will still use D&D Third Edition Rules but its not going to be as involved as Baulders Gate for PC.

Jumpman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn´t say it had better gameplay!! Baldurs Gate II had IMO better gameplay than Diablo II IMO. So therefor I hope and think that BG for the PS2 has better gameplay than Diabloo II!!!!
OK????????????????????????????

The games are not very comparable IMO because of the action orientated gameplay in BG: DA compared to the turn based action in the PC games

I  would\'ve loved to see  the game be a multiple controllable character type of RPG like The Summoner but maintaining the graphic and technical quality BG: DA seems to have

I really enjoyed Vagrant Story, and it seems that BG: DA will follow a similiar play style .

Bossieman i just dont quite understand what you are talking about here.  If you have played BG for the PC and read and looked at the screenshots for BG for the PS2, they really are to different genres.

BG/PC=Awesome strategy based rpg that shaped the PC rpg world.  Based on AD&D rules.

BG/PS2=More of a hack & slash.  No AD&D rules.  Sure better graphics but from what i have found the core BG gameplay is not here.

Diablo 2 was all gameplay, and great gameplay at that.  If you havent played BG/PS2 where are these statements coming from?  These sound like Fanboy statements not ones from Albert E.
SirMystiq for Pres.

There using 3rd edition D&D rules. 3rd edition was not available for the Diablo games. BG: DA will be the 1st videogame to use 3rd edition D&D rules I do believe
