Rumoured Delay, Changes for MGS2 US?!?!?!

I CAN NOT believe what I\'m hearing here.  A little perspective please for ****\'s sake.  Thousands of people have died and you guys are complaining about the delay on a video game.

Jesus Christ, I don\'t know what to say, but please do shut up.

This thread is about the rumored delay of MGS2, not about the tragedy that took place yesterday.  If you want topics about that subject, then go check out the Off-Topic forum.

We don\'t need to "shut up."  Everybody in here knows what happened, and everybody has expressed their feelings.  Just because we want to move on does not mean that we have forgotten anything...

The majority of us are already angry, and this rumor is only fueling the fire.  I hope the game is released on November 13th like it was originally planned, but I won\'t hold it against Konami if they feel it would be best to push it back.   The overall American psychic has been damaged, and if the company feels as though releasing the game so soon would only risk more pain, then so be it.  None of us will be affected in the long run if we have to wait another couple months to play a video game.

Why would they postpone it? Maybe they should cut-off all action movies, since there are explosions in a lot of action movies...
key word, "Greed", don\'t bet against it.

I\'ll be honest.  After I heard all about NY and DC, I took into account lots of different things, besides the horrific situation, one of the things I considered most was the delay of MGS2.  Fact is, none of us know enough about the game to even dictate whether or not it will be delayed.  The game may or may not even be IN New York.  Hell, the ship is on its way to Beunos Airies in the game anyways so who knows.  If it really does end up in New York, like rumored, then it is possible that none of the game takes place outside, or even NEAR the WTC and if it does, then I\'m sure Konami will quickly change the backdrop to account for the changes or just say screw it and release it.

My only concern is if a portion of the game actually place inside the WTC in some way, shape, or form, but I highly doubt it.  That would be just too cliche anyways and I don\'t see Kojima as that type of individual.  Destroying a building annonymously ina  film is one thing (Armageddon), but that doesn\'t mean it will play on the senses of the people who have loved and lost in this tragedy.  Don\'t worry, there will be a TV movie of the week about this on some network, I guarantee it and it will be much more scrutinized upon then a backdrop for a game.
Don\'t you ever touch my cape.

Imagine that the final showdown against the boss would be on the world trade center and after the battle, the center would be destroyed! If MGS2 will be released in this form, it will be the end of Konami. But i don\'t think that the changes will only hit the US version.

I hope they don\'t change anything. If the WTC do appear on MGS2 then you can also take it as a tribute to it. Well, that\'s how I think.
I just wanna know!.
