Toxical/ I have nothing to say to anyone who justifies this attack. Your words are condoning this attack. Unless I\'m mistaken in my observations, I hold you in no different regard than those who celebrate the attack openly.

Lavan/ In the interview with bin Laden a few years back, he states clearly that his reasons are religious, that our culture and our way of life is something of an attack on the Islam religion.

I don\'t believe it\'s really true, as evidenced by the fact that there are a good number of Muslim practitioners in America. But that\'s the reasons he gave.

Yes, but Bin Laden is a muslim EXTREMIST, he\'s a fundamentalist who uses propaganda to justify these attacks. Muslim leaders around the world condemned these attacks, NO WHERE in the Koran does it say that murder and revenge are acceptible - like all holy books it preaches peace. But thanks to the media and just plain ignorance the entire faith of Islam is being blamed for this and honest, innocent muslims are being blamed. In Chigago a firebomb was thrown at a Muslim community center, in Texas shots were fired at a mosque, many muslim groups in the US have recieved death threats. Even in Canada this is happening, in Montreal petrol bombs were thrown at a mosque, in Oakville three young muslim boys were beaten up and closer to home for me my friend\'s mom (who wears a hijab) went to Home Depot yesterday and some guy followed her around the store calling her \'Murderer\' - he even followed her to her car and no one in the store did ANYTHING! She is one of the nicest people I know, she doesn\'t work but she volunteers at my local hospital (I should know since she helped me get a job there) and yet just because some extremists who share her faith but have it twisted have killed SHE and the rest of the Islamic world are being blamed.

I hate to resort to violence but I had of been at Home Depot yesterday when my friend\'s mom was being harrassed for just wearing a hijab I would have picked up a 2 by 4 and smacked that guy in the head. Hard. It\'s just plain ignorance to believe that these extremists were given permission to attack from their religion, or that their religion permits it, or most predjudice of all is that \'their\' culture directly conflicts the western culture.

If a wacko who happened to be Christian went to San Francisco and went on a shooting spree killing as many gays as he could and said it was justified because of Sodom and Gammorah would you then blame the Christian religion? No, that would be rediculous, and blaming Muslims and the faith of Islam for this attack is equally rediculous.

I\'m not condoning this attack, i would shoot these mofos terrorists myself if i could. What i\'m saying is that nothing will be gained by hating people of any religion, and by killing more civilian people, that is the only thing i believe at this point. Just because i have the guts to speak out, doesn\'t mean i\'m a terrorist too. I don\'t hate anyone on this forum, this is just one topic of many, and i can live with others opinions, it doesn\'t mean i will hate them for their opinions.

Lavan, I wasn\'t saying that Islam is to blame, I was saying bin Laden\'s twisted version of it is.

Toxical... man, I\'m sorry, I know you\'d never condone this. I just feel very strongly about all of it, and I let my emotions get the better of me. I apoligize for what I said. Everyone\'s on edge right now... we need to unite, not fight.

*Friends*, i don\'t hold grudges,
besides, it is understandable, i was pissed at one point
and all i could think about is revenge, but i want to stop
terrorists for good not just for the moment.

I know I sound harsh, but I’m not,
I’m trying just to counter all this Media spin on things, and maybe
Present some reality into this,…
