Hello everybody.

I have a sony multitap and a sony dvd remote. the dvd remote only seem to work in ports 1 and 2 o the ps2, but not on B, C, D of the multitap.  
So u pit the multitap on slot 1 and the remote on slot 2. but i can not play games of thwo player with the 2 dualshocks on the multitap, so i have to switch remote and dualshock.

Why can i not use the dvd remote in all slots of the multitap? why cant i play two player games with 2 controls in the multitap?

umm even though we help someone out once in awhile..but there are some things that we dont know. you ever thought about EMAILING SONY ?!?..since apparently they are the ones that made the REMOTE and MULTITAP..just a lil advice

Stop being LAZY

When you want to watch DVDs, put the IR receiver in slot 2, when you want to play games, take out the IR receiver, simple as THAT.
