Where I work, we had an Anthrax scare tonight. A mysterious package addressed to NBC came in, had white substance on it, someone threw it away, and then a hoist truck driver threw it into a trash compacter. Well, when it got to the supervisor, he decided not to evaculate the building yet, but then two people got sick (flu probably), so they evaculated the building for that crew (A-CREW).. I came in at 7:00 pm, the parking lot was empty but they was still going to go ahead with work, but you was allowed the choice to go on if you wanted. I just stayed the night, but I worked right next to where the state police / hazards chemcicals people / safety managers was looking for the package. As of 7:00 am (I work 12 hour shifts) they still had not found it and most people had called in "sick" for today\'s shift.
I truly doubt it was anthrax, so it didn\'t worry me, but I think I don\'t blame most the people for not coming into work or leaving early.
Personally, I refuse to quit living my regular life because of a terrorist attack. That is what they want. They want to change the way we live and opress our daily lives and luxuries, I refuse to let that happen.
