I hear ya on this one mm. I was truly shocked when I read that one. I wasn\'t planning on getting an Xbox any time soon (though I was getting one eventually) and this certainly makes it harder not to get. With the game being delayed for god knows how long now, at least we know it will look great. This is the third major time I\'ve taken it in the rear from SEGA, and for some reason, I doubt it will be the last.

Shemmue is the 21st century most overhyped game!

It\'s a boring piece of crap!!

I seriously doubt anyone will care for Shenmue with so
many other good X-BOX games like DOA3.

thats quite the nice opinion you got there. Are you Bozco\'s brother or something?

Shenmue is one of the best games i have ever played, the 3rd disk alone is worth it by itself. Sega fans care (the ones who still are Sega fans, that is) about Sega games, and this is one of the biggest that has come down the pipeline the last few years from Sega, if not the biggest since NiGHTS.

Remember, Sega has said they want to revive the NiGHTS series...can\'t wait for that one! (hopes it isn\'t that iPhone game they are talking about)

Yep, it\'s me, good old Paul...it\'s good to know someone still remembers me!!!

It\'s been quite a while. I\'ve been busy with my job, new girlfriend etc etc... :) thus haven\'t have much time to surf the net much less post.

Oh and I won\'t be bother with Altered Beast, it\'s hard when seeing your favorite console going to the grave so early...mind you, I\'m been suckered with the DC too.

Ahh well...at least there\'s always Soul Calibur and DOA2 to play with.

Anyway, I still stand with my plain and honest opinion that ShenMue is a piece of software with fab graphics and superb sound/music but with ZERO gameplay. It\'s all dressed up with nowhere to go(but the X-BOX!!).

Anyone who thinks otherwise has to be a Taliban extremist.

Hopefully you will be able to stick around and post more often.  The forums have changed a lot, and a lot of oldies are gone, but the forums are still very entertaining. :)

I am sorry some gamer suckered you into buying a DC, we wouldn\'t want you to have fun, for goodness sake. I love Shenmue and DC, and I think people that don\'t didn\'t give it half a chance, or didn\'t get past the first the disk.

I am just sick of jackasses who base opinions purely off of others opinions, companies that make the games, or half an hour of playing a game.

Notice in the past week I have defended Nintendo, Sega, MS, Capcom, and Sony. and I really don\'t like any of them besides Capcom and Sega.

oh, and mm, looks like XBox isn\'t gonna be the next 3DO.

Panzer Dragoon, Shenmue 2, Jet Set Radio Future, GUNVALKYRIE, Project Ego, Project Gotham, Halo, DOA3, Morrowind, etc,etc,etc!

all exclusive.

plus you got Capcom, EA, Sega Sports, id, Sierra, etc, all making games for it.

what 3DO needed was a killer app, seems X-Box has lots of them.

Nah, no one suckered me into buying a DC except SEGA. it was looking qutie promising at one time until SEGA suckered everyone.

As for ShenMue, I was on the 3rd disc nearing the end, trying very hard to convince myself it\'s an amazing game when lightning struck me and I realized "What the F*** am I doing wasted so many hours playing this piece of crap when I should be having sex and eating fries(it\'s a great combination..try it)!!!!!"

Wait for the Xbox emulator (i bet its the most easy emulator to be developed in video games history) and get a copy of the game.
Buying an xbox is a huge mistake!
