hey i asked for help from you a cuople times and i want to say thanks..but one last thing...i just ordered my geforce 3 ti 200 and the total with shipping came to 190$ but i realized something...i could have gotten a Radeon 8500 OEM for the same price....i have time to cancel my order...should i cancel it and get the oem radeon...i know the oem is slightly less powerful then the the retail..thanks

The thing to consider with the Radeon8500 are the drivers, ATi doesn\'t have a very good reputation when it comes to driver support. The original Radeon was never used to it\'s full potential, the hardware was top notch but the software brought it down.

While nVidia (who have turned into the microsoft of the graphics industry) have a very good reputation when it comes to driver quality and driver support.

The Radeon8500 on paper looks better than the Ge-Forces, however bad drivers are a real concern when dealing with ATi, some people claim that the current drivers are stable and good while others claim they aren\'t.
