Square may ship the RPG before year\'s end in North America.
 
SquareSoft\'s latest entry in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy X, may ship before year\'s end. Released in Japan this past September, the game marked two firsts for the series: It is the first entry in the series on the PlayStation 2, and it\'s the first game in the series to feature voice acting. Due to the large amount of speech in the game, a domestic release was not expected until next year. However, many online vendors have moved the game\'s release up from its projected January release to December.
According to Square EA, Final Fantasy X, originally slated for a January release, may be available before the end of the year. However, it cannot confirm a specific ship date at this time.

I need a link.

Anyways, I heard that it was being shipped either December 26th or January 2nd.  I wish someone would officially confirm the release date.

With so many great and playable games at this time of the year is anybody actually gonna get time to play this game?

Actually, I believe the opposite is more applicable; I\'ll be shelving all games when I get my hands on FFX.

I agree and the fact that FFX is anywhere between late dec. and early jan. Then FFIX is scheduled for feb.? I love the FFseries as much as the next person, but come on!! Too soon for FFIX

I was told where I have a reserve, their ship date is either the 1st week of Jan or the 2nd week.(CAn\'t remember)

It better come out soon cuz I want it so bad...

now that I got MGS2 this is the next game I\'m lookin\' forward to.  Voice acting....yummy:facelick: :facelick:
