??????? If I hook up this optical cable, do i still need to hook up the other cables to my system?

The optical cable is for audio only; you will need some variety of a/v cable for the video, of course.

I have both the OPTICAL and the RCA (red/wht) cables hooked up. There have been cases where certain games didn\'t use/recognize the Optical. So to be sure I hooked both up.
