Can the UK GBA play US GBA games??

Reason i\'m askin is cos my gf has one, and i can get us games cheaper. I remember that us games worked on the Game Boy and on the Game Gear too

From what I have heard, yes, it can play multi regional games.  Does anyone else know for sure though (through personal experience?)

As far as I know, there is no regional lockout on the GBA, only on the GCN.
