Monster Cable Help!!!

I just got a brand new tv, with S-Video and Component connections.  I bright those expensive Monster Cables, and according to color plugged them into their respective holes.  But the pictures flickers and isn\'t pretty, lol.  I have it on the right Video Mode for the tv. (#2).  Do I have to program the tv or sumthin?  Help!

I ned more info....which cables did you get S-video or  component?  is it flickering  when youyr ps2 is hooked up?

They are component Monster cables, and it flickers when my PS2 is on.

That is what I thought.....ok your video setting is setup for RGB in the PS2 settings......switch it to Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr   either put the old cable back in and change it or try doing it with the component in .......I did it because I sorta memorized the button presses to it....here is the order (Down,X,Down,Down, Down,X,Left,X ) then it should be good to go.......lemme know

where do i input this sequence in to change it from RGB?

when you turn on your ps2 just follow the button presses I told you.......
