Evangelion is the Worst Anime ever Devised (Spoilers)

Now, rather then ranting on about the character\'s rather stupid personalities and Shinji\'s wussy state of mind, I\'m going to get right to the final movie (which not many of you have seen) called End of Evangelion which encompassed the final episodes of the series presented in a widescreen movie format.  Believe this one, this garbage, which did not tie up the series in any likeable way whatsoever, was actually released in theatres where Japanese movie-goers paid money, watched it, and then emerged from the theatre wiser with the knowledge within themselves seeing that even their director greats can produce heeps upon heeps of pure un-edited crap.

In other words, I\'m going to rant about the story.

Well yesterday I got to view the final movies for Neon Genesis Evangelion from Death (the shows big 1.5 hour recap) to Rebirth (30 minutes of NEW footage) to End (The last episodes of the series). Without a doubt, this is the WORST anime series I have ever seen.

Lets see, everyone has AT fields (which keep their bodies from turning into this orange goop known as LCL) and Lilith (now merged with Rei) causes everyone\'s AT field to collapse by creating a reverse AT field of serious magnitude and everyone falls apart into LCL. Shinji then breaks free from his insanity attack and decides for the world to be reborn and subsequently is brought back to Earth where it was shortly after all humans were killed.  With the only exception to this being himself, who wished to return as a human to Earth, and Asuka who is barely conscious to begin with and looks to be suffering from brain damage.

That\'s nice.

What about the rest of the people you say? Floating in space. They apparently have the right to choose between their current existance of being an angel or a human. Since Asuka and Shinji were on the beach next to all the fallen 12 white angel evas (which looked pretty lame to begin with) for a good 5 minutes and not one person had returned to Earth, I can only assume they wanted to be angels or something.

So what does that make us?
Absolutely Nothing.

True. If I could meet with the creator of the Eva anime I would draw my reverse blade sword, flip it, and hack at him until nothing is left but a pile of RED goo. That I will. Oh well at least I only spent 50 bucks on the entire Eva series and the movies. Not too much of a loss. :rolleyes:
