VGOA - Video Gamerz of America
« on: January 12, 2002, 11:03:19 PM »
We are a new organization based in Hudons County, New Jersey with staff round the USA. We have currently decided to take our gaming to the next level and share it with the world. We have recently developed a web site which is currently being made and coded in Cold Fusion Language. The VGOA site will provide previews, reviews, codes, and faqs to todays best games. We are going to start with OUR favorite 3 consoles. The PS2, the X-BOX, and the PSX. As soon as our fan base grows more and more we will be expanding to a variety of consoles.

VGOA will also be doing interviews with todays gaming executives, song writers, and directors for many of todays best console games.

VGOA started in 1999 by myself, Roberto Garcia, and my partner in crime Psycho aka Peter Prentt. We played video games day in and out while going to school and keeping an above 3.0 GPA. We did our OWN reviews and previews, and little codes to keep us occupied. We started a phoneing line free of charge for people in our local community to call us and ask for tips and tricks and walkthroughs for all games.

I then put myself in the gaming community for pc games and met a very skilled web designer by the name of Jake aka Machine Head aka _mh. I came up with idea for VGOA Online and he presented me with a layout to work with and with the help of Brentt Holland who graciously offered to code the VGOA site in Cold Fusion and become part of our staff. If you would like to see some of his work in Cold Fusion you can hop on over to http:// and see his work.

The site will be ready to launch before Febuary 1st. I have created a Forum recently (earlier today) to keep my audience occupied until the official release of VGOA. To register it is not that hard. Just give a username / password / email and you are set. I hope to see alot of you contribute to VGOA. If you want a job as a staffer please contact me.

This is taking hardcore gaming to a scary level...

You guys need to go play some sport or something and get a girlfriend. Games arent everything you know.

Yeah i know how the advertising business works.

I don\'t comprehend how it is a lame idea.  It\'s a bunch of friends wanting to help others like they have done in RL, except we are taking it to the world wide web.  But as usual everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Have a good one.
