Nascar Heat vs Thunder 2002

Im a big nascar fan but i only see the need in buying one of em, ive heard nascar het has better graphics but isnt realistic at all, and nascar thunder has pretty good graphics but is really realistic, any of you own or played both of these games... since im a big fan, i want some realism and just not an easy nascar arcade game, i mean i have 2001 im playin the crap out of on psx, the graphics suck but its fun and challenging, and i want that outta one of these new titles..thanks

I owned both...I still own THUNDER.  43 cars on the track...3 wide in the turns...great AI...Nice Damage...Fun Career Mode (and Create-A-Driver)!!!...only thing that kinda blows are the replays.  They aren\'t bad...but they are nowhere neeeeeeeear complete enough.  When a game like GT3 can take us completely back around every part of the course in replay...a person get\'s spoiled and hungers for that all the time!  Face it, rubbin\' racin\' deserves it!:D  Thunder 2002 is a great game.  Not a bad idea to rent both to see for yourself...but you\'ll like Thunder 2002.:shy:

I own Thunder 2002 and I think it\'s cool, better than NASCAR 2001.  Like said above full field, Creat-A-Driver, Season, better graphics(imo) I haven\'t played Heat but I\'ve seen a demo and I wasn\'t too impressed because Heat looked a little slower than Thunder...so I agree rent both and see what you like.
