new MGS2 demo?

got past Olga last night, didnt seem much else to do apart from wander round on the upper level outside the bridge but have seen some posts about being in the engine room?

Haven\'t had another chance to try it again but is this right, is there another section?

I havent got the demo, but here are most of the changes.

Small changes include:

~More powerful lightning in the cutscenes.
~Different noise for the Kasatkas.
~Ability to zoom in and move the camera slightly in cutscenes (pretty pointless).
~Tanker blows it\'s horn after Snake lands on it (very cool).
~Snake\'s stealth suit can be heard malfunctioning while he\'s running on the bridge.
~Sleeping guard near the crew\'s lounge has a sworm of flies around him (hilarious  )
~You can actually see Olga\'s bullet just miss Snake\'s face (exceptionally cool).
~Building-poster opposite bar in crew\'s lounge now converted to FHM poster.
~You can hear Snake\'s heartbeat when enemies are around (eg. a clearing) if you\'re in a locker
~Slight changes in some Codec conversations.
~Improved lighting effects on weapons when you\'re outside.
~Entering the tanker after being outside for a while leads to a temporary \'blindness\' on the screen which fades away (very realistic).
~3D barrel added to Snake\'s M9.
~No more USP before Olga.
~Changes in how the guards walk.
~Snake says "Freeze!" before holding up a guard.
~All \'throwable\' weapons/items are now visible in 1st person (grenades, magasines etc.)


Bigger changes include~

~No more Scope, camera instead.
~Changes in the mission objectives (you have to photograph MGR now, hence the camera.)
~Much better Codec (faster, with added bits of cutscenes included between their faces in some conversations.)
~Re-designed item and weapon menus (no longer L-shaped, with weapons coloured blue and items coloured red - I think).

the demo is not that good i tought it was big you can complete it in 5 mins

you can get to the engine room, after beating Olga go back down through the ship, at the Crew lounge (deck C?) where the camera cuts and shows you the guards go past the door and down steps on right, door at the bottom of the stairs leads to engine room

well i loved the demo i spent over a hour playing at got no where near where the old demo finished!!


yeah yu can get in the engine room, you know the room with the bar, and plasma tv screen!!!! in the middle is the stair, two gaurd in that room, if you go all the way left , you can go down the stairs old demo there was a sleeping gaurd there, he there again, but with flies around him, if you go all the way right it will look excactly like the left hand side, except the gaurd isnt there, and the door at the bottom of the stairs is unlocked......there you go hope it helps

That is missing the point... Ya can complete it in 5mins, but ya can enjoy it for 5 hours...

It\'s an amazing demo, and has made me save up for the game already.
