Scots face German test Scotland boss Berti Vogts is set for a Euro 2004 showdown with Germany, while they will also face Iceland, Lithuania and Faroe Islands. The incoming Scotland chief led his homeland to the European Championship title in 1996, but this time around he will line up against the Germans in an intriguing group. While Germany are firm favourites to win through from qualifying Group Five, Scotland must fancy their chances of at least finishing in second place, with Iceland, Lithuania and the Faroe Islands also in the group. The group winners go straight through to Euro 2004 in Portugal, with the runners-up from each group going into play-offs. Scotland will at least be aiming to be involved when those matches come round in November 2003.England were lined up against Turkey, Macedonia, Liechtenstein and Lubo Moravcik and Robert Tomaschek\'s Slovakia, while Wales face a tough group against Italy, Yugoslavia, Finland and Azerbaijan.Northern Ireland line up against Spain, Ukraine, Greece and Armenia, while Mick McCarthy\'s Republic of Ireland team will face up to Russia, Switzerland, Georgia and Albania.
