Damn Tiger, any of you play golf?

Holy cow.  6 under on Thursday, 5 over and barely makes cut on Friday.  OUCH..  I could have beaten the tiger yesterday.  Well, maybe not, but my gosh.  He must have had some bad shrimp.

I love to play golf, but to even utter the words "I could have beaten Tiger"! That\'s sac religious! lol Just joking. I think Tigers great, but I don’t\' spend much time watching golf on TV. I stand with a handicap of 6 right now, I hope to improve, but it\'s tough when you can\'t play every day.

Ugh, I wish I could get down to 6.  I hover around 13..  I just never have time to play anymore.  I\'m probably up to 18 now.  That\'s what happens when you have babies..

Don\'t say that friend, my wife is pregnant, and I\'ve worked hard to keep my average. I hope that it won\'t suffer too badly. Hope you get a chance to get out more this year. Keep your head down, eye on the ball and follow through...did I mention keeping your head down?

You may as well sell the clubs and rent some when you get a chance to play.

That sucks man. I\'m gonna have to lay down the law if you know what I mean...(kiss a little booty you know.) I may not get out as much as I do now(in the summer that is), but it may help a little. One thing that I have found helpful in getting my way around the house is flashin\' some green backs man. A little dough, alittle change and presto, I got a date with 18... holes that is. I\'m tellin\' ya man, it\'s the only way that I can get away with playing my PS2 as much as I do.:thepimp:

During the summer I play like every 2 weeks and I average around a 90, my dad is really good though, he averages around a 70

Man if you avg. 90 and only play about every two weeks you could be better than a 6 handicap in no time. You should give it a try man, you sound like ya got tallent.

Only if I had the time or the MONEY to play any more than that, but since I have a job now I may go a little more often.  My goal is to beat my dad.

Money is the major factor.  Especially when trying to learn.  It costs a heck of a lot when for the first 50 times you play you are going to suck.  

How much is golf where you all live.  Here it is anywhere from 18-40 for average courses depending on Summer - Winter rates.  Here Summer is much cheaper.  YAHOO!!!

No such thing as winter rates here, but the closest course to my house, about a 2 minute drive away, cost 30$.  The other course thats right down the street has a par 72 and a par 58, the 72 is 20$ and the 58 is 10$, the par 58 is a steal considering its a decent course, but theres a course about 20 minutes away that cost 200$ to play at, very very nice course, owned by a local basket making company, to get male employees they built the course and made it very cheap for employees, the other nice course by my house is Murfield, I\'m sure if you watch golf you\'ve seen it on tv, I\'ve played there once, but its also expensive so my dad payed.  But the average around here is between 20-50$

The rates around here average from $10 to $30/35. I\'ve spent as much as $75 to play at a friend’s bachelor party, but for the most part, I try to stick with anything fewer than 15/20 bucks. (I play more 9\'s than full 18\'s with work and all) Egypt Valley isn’t too far from where I live, but you have to be a member or related to one to play there.:eek:

well i dont normally play golf, but one time i was about 10, id never played b4, my friends bro though he was really good, and made me paly him ( he was about 14) we played up the park, its quite big, and we made two holes, went one way, then back etc, i beat him 8 games in a row!!! lol that was funny
