How do you use it?

Who uses strategy guides?  How many games are you trying to conquer at once?  Do you play one \'til you\'ve finished it and then move on or what?  Just curious and bored \'cause I\'m stuck on GTA3.

i use online strat guides only for games i dont pay for [rent] or get discounted

i paid 50$ for FFX, ill be damned if im going to ruin it with a strat guide.  after i beat it once, then ill go back with a strat guide to get all the secret stuff

I almost never buy strategy guides. Why bother where\'s a ton of free ones on the net? I just play through till I\'m stuck, look up the answer in a Strategy guide.. stop there.. go back to playing.. and then do it all over again the next time I\'m stuck.

stratagy guides are cool, but now with the advent technology of the internet, I can get all those helpful hints, right here! Hey, use em\' if you like, but for me -  I try beating the games on my own before getting any help.  

i hardly ever use them, only if i cant do someting for a week and its annoying me badly...i try not to though, it ruins the game.






i remebr when i first played re, i got stuck on those doom book for a few weeks, i knew there was ssomething you had to do, but i didnt relise you had to open them!!!

I only buy (download) them for games that are insanly hard, like TR2. Now that game is hard

I dont understand how my brother beat it without cheats

I don\'t bother with guides..  Only when i\'ve played a game to a point where it\'s no longer fun. Being i\'ve completed it too many times, or clocked. whatever u prefer. Then and only then do i use cheats or guides. Just to see what i\'ve missed.

the only strategy guide i have is for Silent Hill 2 and it was bought for me.

Bought me Silent Hill 2 (2 disk version)

plus the stat guide for X mas.

i completed the game with out looking at the strat guide , and i am now playing a scond time and only dared to open the book once i had finished it without the risk of spoiling the game.

simple rule to follow

Complete the game first
then look at the Guide to see what you have missed.
