G Surfers any good?

Seen this in Harvey Norman today downtown, looked pretty good. Has 30 different tracks, killer graphics and track editor.

Its gotten rave reviews (so the box says)

Anyone got it, any good? Wipeout beater?

i played a demo, it sucked big time!!!! the thing that makes it worse is the tracks are coloured a really weird colour, its really terrible, you gotta see it in motion to see how bad it is. get wipeout fusion or extreme g3, there both much better. also all the reviews i saw said it sucked

Yeah, it suppose to have changed big time since the demo.

THey have put Wipeout like marks on the tracks now. It pretty good from the screens, maybe just a rent...

yeah rent it, but dont get your hopes up!!! all reviews ive seen say it sucks, and wait to you see the tracks, it really hurts your eyes

you got to be careful when reading qoutes out of mags, it can be taken out of context, the may be saying "this game is so fast and smooth" but the dont carry on what is really said, something like, shame the tracks suck, controls are bad,etc
