I never played the first one but bought Tricky and think its a damn fine game...... everyone I know who has got it has loved it and I havent seen any bad reviews either..... I reckon you would be very unlucky to find that you dont like it, or another way of putting it is that I think you\'d be in the minority

Dang I can\'t believe this argument can even be brought up. SSX Tricky is without a doubt, easily the best snowboarding game on the market. Characters actually interact and have personalities and don\'t get me started on Psymon\'s uber trick.... or I\'ll throw a penguin at you...

SSX Tricky is a bundle of fun.  I have never played the original SSX for comparison.  I don\'t usually go for these whacky non-mainstream type sports games either... so it has to be pretty good to keep my attention.

But GTA is still the jewel for my PS2.
I think I must be part psycho... In GTA for the heck of it I went up a tall building and started sniping pedestrians... and cops... and shooting rockets at helecoptors.

SSX the first one will soon be relaunched at a wallet friendly £20.

I think I must be the only person who didn\'t care for SSX. I bought it a few months ago and I have played it maybe a total of 15 minutes. Maybe I didn\'t give it enough of a chance.

I just recently bought SSX Tricky for my Gamecube (Finally!) and I\'m having a blast with it.  I had actually stopped playing games for a while, but now I\'m peeling the skin off my bruised Nintendo-thumb.  w000

It\'s a fun game.  There\'s a ton of stuff to get with any given character and those who are ambitious will find replay in doing that with all the other characters.

Anyway, it\'s pretty deep and it\'s damn fun.  Give it a try.

First off, Ddaryl, whoah.  Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed..  Although I think Racers opinion is a little odd he didn\'t need to be slaughtered.  Remember, this is the new and improved non-anal racer.

Since the original poster doesn\'t have either game and he liked the first one, I would suggest getting the second one.  It\'s a tweaked out version of the first with more tricks and stuff.  Unless money is an issue and then at half the cost I would just go with the original because it\'s not that much different.

But being in Africa your choices may be different than ours and you may not even get the 20 dollar deal.
