Well, I\'v been busy e-mailing all of the reps about various rumors going around the web. Today I decided to contact a Konami rep to see if the rumors of their new Contra game were true. They did forward my e-mail to anohter company that covers their PR, but they did let me know that "Once news of Contra becomes available they\'ll let you have it." This says it all, indeed they are developing this game. Hopfuly I will be able to bring you more information as it comes up.
I loved the contra games, for just what they were, one of the few action games that I could stomach for hours (along with R-Type). I would certainly like to see a modern version of these games, especially if they can stay true to the originals...
