its over two years older

PC components double in size and take up half as much space
every 18 months

what i think he means is that we dont see a two year difference in the hardware and software

BizioEE, this topic doesn\'t say "which system is the best" - it is labled "which system has the best hardware options / most potential". Do you know what that means? It means we aren\'t debating which VU or Vertex Shader can get you high more quickly, but which hardware has the most potential. Reread my post and post something relevant if you wish to debate.
