Thanks to Sakura Taisen 3 and Skies of Arcadia developer "Overworks", an all new Shinobi title will be coming to the Playstation 2. The main character is named Hotsuma, he is armed with a sword, shuriken, and various magic attacks. The character is able to combine attacks, including stealth dash and even has the ability to wall run. The game will be completely 3D and is shaping up to be a promising title.

Developed and published by Sega, Shinobi is scheduled for release this fall.

wonder what it will be like in 3D.. kinda like Tenchu or what?

/me doesnt know if there have been any 3D Shinobi games

i was just playing the original a few days ago tho..

I hope they go back old school a bit, I loved the original shinobi for genesis to death man... the later ones got a bit irritating... to ninja gaiden like....

I loved that game! I had the second and third one for the Genesis.

Lets just hope the 3d transition is a good one.

Obviously none of you have played the one for the Saturn that used live action characters...Ugh! I\'m sorry, but that game sort of ruined the Shinobi experince for me, no matter how much I love the series.

On another negative note; DAMNIT! Why does it have to be 3D? Tecmo is already going to ruin Ninja Gaiden by making it 3D, so why is Sega goin\' to do the same to Shinobi?

yeah these type of games dont usuallywork in 3d......but peep would be a bit annoyed if it was 2d, peep expect games to be 3d now!!!!



also i want the original shinobi/s in the game, after you complete it...the retro ones!!!! wooooooooow that woud be cool
