QuDDus: Well, the top spot is occupied by the PS2 with 25+ million units. They have too much of a lead and too much momentum to be beaten this generation.. so trying to beat them in overall sales is futile.
Who says that Nintendo isn\'t trying though? Piling on the 3rd-party games, releasing developer-friendly hardware, funding more 2nd-parties, making deal after deal with the 3rd-party heavyweights like Capcom, Namco, and Sega.. etc. I think Nintendo is sowing seeds in fertile soil.. they just haven\'t reaped the harvest yet. Nintendo\'s marketing could be better.. but as far as games go, they\'ve done a lot of work that shouldn\'t be disregarded. It pains me to say this, but wait until E3 and late 2002.. you\'ll see a big turn-around for the GameCube from its disappointing Q1.
