Drool everyone.  Just drool.

-- Treasure\'s Ikaruga to appear on the Dreamcast and Playstation 2

The spiritual successor to the widely praised Radiant Silvergun will be released on the Dreamcast.

Online importer National Console Support has announced that Treasure\'s Naomi-powered shooter, Ikaruga, is indeed coming to the Dreamcast. Ikaruga is considered by many to be the unofficial sequel to Radiant Silvergun, a unique shooter for the Sega Saturn. In this old-style top-down shooter, players will be able to select from two different modes for their ship--white and black--which will allow them to absorb enemy attacks of the same color.
NCS also stated that a PlayStation 2 version of the game is on the way, but the release date has not been determined. The Dreamcast version of Ikaruga is scheduled for release on May 30 in Japan.

Wow, so the Dreamcast has some life in it yet!

Treasure makes some awesome games.. I hope that they eventually port this to GameCube too.

Yeah, Radiant Silvergun was the best Saturn game. The weapons rocked (no, the weapons rock).
