Paintball anybody?!
« on: April 19, 2002, 06:48:27 AM »
Does anybody in here like paintball guns? Do any of you play paintball?

I just thought I would let you know what gun I want.

This seems to be the best gun for the money I am willing to spend. I have about three hundred bucks and I want to get into a better outfit for this fall when the guys and I go to camp.

This is the gun I am presently using from last year.

This one cost me about $180 last year and is a d*mn good gun. I have to say though, getting into paintball was not cheap, but it is a blast!

For those who know paintball, they will know how serious I am about it when I say that all of my guns are set up for compressed air and not cO2. I love the game and can’t wait to get out this next fall.

I love guns, hunting... someday I must check this game... can be funny, but in Spain is not common.

The truth about Paintball is that it does cost a good amount of money. I have personally spent into the thousands to play the sport, but the rush is worth it all. The problem with cheap guns is that they do not have much velocity to the pellets. The guns I use will put a welt on you the size of an egg under your skin if your struck point blank. It’ dodging that kind of power that adds to the excitement of paintball.

I\'ve been shot by a good gun with a high speed setting and let me tell you it didn\'t fell to good at all.  But I\'ve only been paintballing once, it was fun but it cost way to much.

it can take ANY abuse and it still works like i just got it yesterday

ill never forget the day me and my friend went to 3 day tournament and he brought along his $700 auto cocker and broke it to pieces within a few hours

I\'ve seen that too many time out were my friends and I play. It\'s always the guys that have never played that think you need the most expensive gus around to kick the chit outta somebody.

I personaly like some of the newer guns but that one you got sounds like it kicks a$$. In fact, I still have the first gun I ever owned. My old PMI Tracer with a 14" barrel. The splater paint job on the barrel and the kit I bought to soup up the velocity has been it\'s only improvements in the last seven years.

Sometimes the old stuff is the best stuff.;)

Yeah, I wanted the shutter a few years ago, but I didn\'t have a job and couldn\'t afford it.  I got a TL+ instead and am happy with its performance.  For the cost, spyders are reliable.

Yeah, I play paintball quite a bit.  I\'m new at it though, so I don\'t have the best gun.  It\'s a spyder low pressure, with a few upgrades (new barrel and bolt).  I\'m on a five man paintball team with a few friends.

Personally, my favorite guns are Mags.  My friend recently got in on this deal where he got a minimag for about $300.  The thing is great.
