If they are dead, they are not suffering are they. In my mind, a greater suffering would come from being "clackerless", to live life as a modern day eunuch if you get my drift.

Paedophiles, rapists..... in fact all those who sexually abuse should endure this outcome (without painkillers). It\'s disgraceful how priests can think they can hide behind religion when commiting such degrading acts.

I just found out that a priest at a catholic high school in my town was just accused of child molesting. I hope to god its not true

I think they are in the minority but it\'s that minority that are giving other preists a bad name.

Homosexuals don\'t rape children, pedophiles rape children.  I don\'t know how the hell the church would go about weeding out any group of undesirables - FBI background checks?  Yeah right.  I suppose before you enter priesthood, a cardinal could strap you to a chair, show you various porn, and monitor your ummm...arousal - even less likely to happen.  

I think this whole scandal goes to show that the Catholic Church is going about things horribly wrong.  I mean, what kind of religion is it that somehow draws sex offenders to it?  When I try to imagine where the Vatican stores their scandal records, I picture the final scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark.  Their beliefs and guidelines are outdated, and exist solely to give them power as far as I\'m concerned.  

Not saying that the Catholic Church is evil necessarily, I just think some bad habits have seriously snowballed over the centuries.

There is no way to weed out homosexuality in any demonotion. What do you expect? Them to be honest and admit to be homosexual? And she said it best when she said, "homosexuals don\'t rape children, pedophiles rape children.". Well said, Sara.
