Serves the mother right for giving her boy a dreamcast.

It\'d be a lot messier if they were playing an X-Box...

Just wait until those damn senators get a hold of this, they\'ll have a field day.

I always thought Dreamcast was a dead system, but ****...

Hmm, that was insensitive. ;]  To answer the question of who to blame this on:

Both Lopez and Martins had recently been sent to an Alternative Learning Center and both had been expelled.

I\'d say the blame falls on... Doom.

And Mortal Kombat.

(And Pikmin)

I mean hell, they were playing a football game.  If they think this has to do with video game violence I might just end up breaking some knives off in somebody...  and how does that happen, anyway?  What kind of plastic sporks was this kid using?

No wonder he\'s in Alternative Learning.

And does that mean they taught him Alternative uses for plastic sporks?

I need to stop typing.

I had to stop playing my DC as soon as I began chasing my wife around the house with a knife. Come to find out though, it had nothing to do with my DC, it was just the intense nagging I got from not spending enough time with her because I was playing games too much. Now I make sure that I give her a couple hours a week of good quality time…then I play my games.

But come on guys, the DC was not that bad of a system. In fact I had and still have most of the best games for the DC, and still play them on occasion. It may have been a dead system, but it was cool to play on line as well as off line.

Good point and well made, but it cetainly isnt worth stabbing someone over!! Video games dont make someone stab someone that many times and break 5 knives, that kid must have a real mind problem or something.
