You can already tell it isn\'t going to lean towards RE:Rebith style (i.e "survival"). Still, it should be a fun little romp, though not near as scarey. And there is no denying the game is damn gorgeous.

Yum....

Everyone keep in mind that Capcom has said that RE:Zero is an evoled form of the game, with features such as real time switching among the characters (ala Munch\'s Odyessy) and a couple other things. I think they compared it most to the old game "Sweet Home". They also said RE4 would take awhile due to the fact it is being completely redone and be a total rework of the RE series.

Terry, the graphics are indeed pre-rendered. They are using the same engine they used for RE:Rebirth. Which means, the backgrounds are pre-rendered with animated movies for the lighting and what not.

I don\'t know very much about the RE series. The Gamecube has the game that is like the RE movie. Do we have that version? What versions do we have and what\'s the difference between them?

/me starts praying for non-pre rendered backrounds in RE4......

It\'s to late for this one......:(

But still it should be fun. I dont even mind the pre-rended backrounds. They look nice. I see a train in several of those pics......nemesis comes to mind.

Is it me? Or does PSone own all the other systems?

Anyways, I was reading and Capcom also announced that RE0 will also allow players to drop items, instead of having to search down an item box all the time.  Eh...bleh @ dropping items on command..

Get bent. ;)

I love this series, and now more than ever want a Gamecube. Does anyone know anything \'bout the story or what might be going on? Where does it fit into the RE storyline?

Oh, and has anybody heard anything about that GameBoy Color RE that\'s supposed to be coming out soon?

Cool beans. :bounce:

RE and Shenmue...

The only reasons to buy any console.

:fro:
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

The remake looks amazing even with prerendered backgounds, so I don\'t mind. I got hope it plays as well.

Never played Shenmue but totally agree on the RE bit.  When I think of PS1, I think of RE1, 2, 3.  Those were the days:shy:
A word of advice:

In the working world there is only two ships that sink: 1.) a Battle ship, and 2.) Partnership

You are totally missing out.

SonyFan would rip me a new one if he saw this...

Shenmue made me look at Adventure games in a whole new light.

And RE was the only reason I bought a GC.

I\'m not a Nintendo fan.
