From the Magic Box:

Here are the Top 10 Best Console Games at E3 selected by Japanese magazine.

1 The Legend of Zelda (GameCube, Nintendo)
2 Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance (PS2 / Xbox / PC, Konami)
3 Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube, Nintendo)
4 Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball (Xbox, Tecmo)
5 Devil May Cry 2 (PlayStation 2, Capcom)
6 Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II (GameCube, Sega)
7 Biohazard Online (PlayStation 2, Capcom)
8 Panzer Dragoon Orta (Xbox, Sega)
9 Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (PlayStation 2, Enix)
10 Phantasy Star Online (Xbox, Sega)

- Here are the latest list of Japanese Most Wanted Console Games.

1 Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (PlayStation 2, Enix)
2 Biohazard 0 (GameCube, Capcom)
3 Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube, Nintendo)
4 Legend of Zelda (GameCube, Nintendo)
5 Tales of Destiny 2 (PlayStation 2, Namco)

So most wanted = Gamecube, yet the sales continue to drop?  I don\'t get Japanese gamers.  Never have and never will.

Don\'t worry, you\'ll see a huge spike in Gamecube sales when these games are released. That\'s the way it always is, the Japannesse aren\'t going to buy a console based on the games that will come out eventually, they\'ll buy it based on what they can get at the moment. Makes sense if you ask me. Why would you want to buy a GC only to have it collect dust until the games you want come out? Hell, if you\'re lucky and patient there might even be a price drop before Zelda and Resident Evil come out.

GameCube sales are sour right now due to the last worthwhile game being released in March.. :)

Worthwhile to the Japanese, anyway. They don\'t like American franchises, and they didn\'t like the RPG Rune..

Sales-wise, anyway. Rune has only sold 25-30K..
