Your Welcome!
1) Yes, all the menus are in Japanese
2) When choosing the teams you see the national flags or the flags from each club and also the names but once again in Japanese. The players names are also in Japanese.
As you can see everything is in Japanese but you can do two things to solve this problem:
1) The game let\'s you edit teams and players names . This way you can edit the teams that you use the most manually and save the changes to your memory card so they will appear on English. You can get all teams and players names
here.
The best shoot here is to find a save game on the net that already contains all teams edited (When I bought my WE6 the seller also sold me a memory card with a save game with all teams edited): I don\'t now a site where you can find save games for PS2 but I’m sure there are plenty. Of course the down side of this is that you will need a shark port or something to download the save game from your pc to your ps2 memory card.
2) You can patch the game. Because the Winning Eleven series has so many fans every time a new game is release also a lot of patches are release. The best patch is from a guy call Rhapsody and you can find it
hereOf course this mean you will need to make a backup of your game and you will need to mod your ps2 to be able to run your backup. The patch also changes the menus to English
It\'s a lot of work for just playing a game but let me tell you: IT\'S WORTH IT!!!!
