Also, I\'d like to take this moment to announce:

I AM NOT PRO-XBOX!!!

Why do some people still mistake me for that? *cough* mm, The Hurricane* I\'ve never raved about an XBox game, except for Quantum Redshift but only cause the graphics looked really nice. I don\'t own and XBox nor do I have any plans to get one, unless Shenmue 3 is exclusive. You may have made this assumption when I post in any anti-XBox threads but it had more to do with the lamers than the actual console. I would get just as annoyed if it were a "PS2 sold only 800 units last week" or "PS2 is hard to program for", week after week.

Whew, just needed to get that off my chest.

Nothing against XBox...

I think that TimeSplitters 2 and GTA4 will probably become the most successful games during the winter beating out both GCN and Xbox. MGS2 Substance won\'t be that big except for XB fans but still won\'t sell a lot because they didn\'t experience the Metal Gear Solids unless they owned a PSX. But if they were true fans, they would have it by now. Only fans of MGS2 will actually buy Substance so it won\'t be a big hit. TS2 and GTA4 already have a big hype and they will probably be out on top.

PS2 will be online... but...

PC has been online for years, I\'m already a veteran PC gamer.  With games like counterstrike and Warcraft 3 both popular I have  gamers dream.  This fall, Unreal Tournament 2k3 and Unreal 2 both have online multiplay.  The Sims online in the fall, that is going to be VERY popular.  Condition Zero, I swear to you this will be the #1 Online Action game for a very long time.  World of Warcraft!  :eek:

I couldn\'t ask for a better PC line up.  All the consoles have very nice ones indeed, but for me, the PC line up just stands above the rest.

BTW - Yes I will be getting my PS2 online w/ madden, the Pats are going to kick ass.

Eik.. if you get TimeSplitters for either GCN or XBox you are robbing yourself of what is sure to be one of the best online games EVAR!!2111~!!!!

I swear if I could tear myself away from the Gamecube I would buy a game like TS2, get good at it, and jump right into this online thing...

But so far, I can\'t. :)

Aww.. :(

As I\'ve said before, I know some big Nintendo fans who have played TS2 and say it feels like a direct successor to Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.. :)  Just in case you might be interested :)

PS2, multiplatform, same difference. It doesn\'t matter anyway. I made my point. I would much rather have TS2 on PS2 because I think the controls will probably be much easier (I\'m used to them and I use the exact layout for Red Faction). Just my two cents.
