As long as your character doesn\'t gain levels or anything from the offline game (PSO), Gameshark wouldn\'t do much damage.

You never stuck around for the VK, PK, CK, BSOD, FSOD, LQOD, NOL, Bank Robbery and such days did you? PSO is already ruined.. I only keep a CB tucked away for the restoration of characters that have been mauled by malicious coders. A code even as innocent as item mod can destroy the fabric of a game community. You WILL be able to find these codes elsewhere, and what you do outside of Clan/Leauge games is none of anyone elses buisness.

Don\'t bring codes into PSX2Central games, Don\'t Slander PSX2Centrals name by using codes with a clan char, and don\'t post codes for online games here. Simple as that.

Yea, I was there. It was annoying when I was working hard to reach lvl 100 then out of nowhere, my friend beats me to it because of GS. It sucked, and the BSOD kept happening or, sometimes, my DC just suddenly shuts off for no apparent reason. The only "cheating" thing I did was duping. I didn\'t use a GS, I did the one where you needed 2 people and a 4x memory card. I just hated it when people stole my Lavis. :p

Actually you\'re not going to find much sympathy or acceptance at gamefaqs either.Man nothing pisses me off more than online cheaters,I just wish I could reach through my computer screen and get my hands on them.

Cheaters or not, Im finnaly in!  Just found support for cable connection.  Im Very excited about this game now.  I wasnt too thrilled, but now.... Its on.  Its like.... Dildonics baby.  We must unite and conquer all!!!! muahahahahahaha

I can already think of the people that I trust in this forum to play as team members.  I don\'t take games as serious as some, but I like to know that everybody on the team is happy with the way they are playing.

I didnt even think about chaters until i read this thread.
That would suck really bad, but hopefully nothing like that will happen.
Its not like diablo where you build up characters and stuff, so the most a cheat would affect would be one game, and you can just quit and play a diff. one if it gets that bad...

cheater or no cheaters socom is still gonna be a great game....it would be great though to have an entire squad turn on one guy if he is cheating....

Its too bad that we cant play with people in different time zones and whatnot.  I mean, we could send the people the game who cant buy it yet, but they wouldnt be able to play with us.  oh well.  Juslight were talking the other day about the socom clan thing, and I hope some of you in here will be joining us in a clan.  I havent been  more excited about ONE game in forever.  Not since before the release of FFX. I guess because it is so different.  See you guys in there! :)
I pre-ordered this game on the weekend and I pick it up tomorrow!  I cant wait!
