Next-Gen DVD for PS3?

So, instead of a PlayStation with DVD capabilities, you might have a DVD player with PlayStation capabilities. Or a toaster that can play Final Fantasy? Hmm...

crosses legs....*splat* Damn, if they could pull this off without a kink then sony would redeem itself from some of the mistakes they have made . But hey if the prices arent like n64 and there are no real problems then im all for it. no more dead games cause of scratches and a new element to make up for the lack of such elements for ps2, (eventhough i still love it to death). While a new controller would be nice i really would kinda miss my old ps2 games eventhough i could always bust it out on the ol\' ps2. wouldnt it be nice to see all those older games without flaws? Damn.
